The youth exchange “Initiate your career” aims to increase the employment opportunities for 36 young people from 6 countries from CZ, HU, SK, BG, EL, RO by actively involving the participants in improving their personal and professional competences in order to match with the labor market requirements.

Result and Impact:
The participants will increase knowledge, competences and skills regarding entrepreneurship, by developing some key competences, such as learning to learn, interpersonal and intercultural competences, as well as cultural awareness and expression. By working in teams, they will increase their cooperation and communication abilities, as well as communication in English.
Accommodation and Food
Accommodation will be arranged for two persons/room, grouped by gender. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served at the same location every day. Each room has its own bathroom, modern furniture, and cable TV. There is a free Internet wireless connection available. There is also a limited wireless internet in the public area, the speed might be slow in comparison to your normal internet in your country. Please be prepared that you won’t get a proper internet access for the whole program.
The travel cost will be reimbursed up to 275 euro for round trip. You must keep all the bills, boarding passes and all kinds of tickets with you because host organization needs them to reimburse your travel cost. No participant can arrive later than the arrival day or depart earlier than the day of departure. The participants can arrive in Romania a few days before the mobility and can leave a few days after but have to arrange food and accommodation for themselves for these days.
How to get there:
From the airport: From Bucharest International Airport you have to go to the train station at Gara de Nord. You can take bus no. 780 (direction Gara de Nord/Basarab) until the stop called “Gara de Nord”/North train station. In order to take the bus, you have to go down one level from the arrivals hall and go outside. The bus station is just in front of you. On your right you will see a kiosk. From there you
have to buy a card (called “active card”) and you have to charge it in the kiosk with the necessary amount for the tickets you want (the card itself costs 5 lei, around 1.1 Euro and a return ticket is 7 lei, around 1.5 Euro. The journey takes around 40 minutes. Bus 780 leaves you just in front of the North Train Station. Bus no. 783 connects Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport with the city center. This line runs day and night. At night, the bus leaves every 40 minutes. Check the bus schedules here.
By train: After you arrive at the train station, there are several trains that run from Bucharest to Constanța (the closest train station) every day. To consult the schedule check: cfrcalatori.ro and write at “De la”: Bucuresti Nord and at “Panala”: Constanța. However, the website is also available in English- check right top corner. Ticket price: around 11 Euros and the journey takes about 2 hours.
Weather conditions: in Costinești, the average temperature in June is between 23 °C and 26 °C. Please check accuweather.com for more updated information about the weather.
Dress Code: Casual comfortable sportswear, swimsuit, slippers or sneakers for indoor and comfortable shoes for outdoor activities.
Cultural night: each country is expected to prepare a 10-15min program to present their culture (culture, customs, music, dance, etc.) and to bring some typical local drinks and foods.
Meals: three meals and two coffee breaks per day will be provided. We will take into account all the participants dietary aspects such as allergies, intolerance and preferences. We will also have vegetarian menu.
Dietary/Special requirements: please inform us as soon as possible if any participant have any dietary requirements or any other special requests.
Health and travel insurance: the participants are required by Erasmus+ program to have a valid European health insurance and a valid travel insurance for the period of the projects including the travel dates.
