for youth workers and young people active in the 7 partner organizations in order to increase employability of youths from the seven communities.

Participant Profile

The group will consist of 36 participants coming from 7 partner countries. They must be motivated to develop their competences in public speaking, critical thinking, conversation under stress and collaborative action.

Participant’s prerequisites:

  • Be present and have an active participation on all sessions of the TCs
  • Show initiative and interest in the topic and follow up activities
  • Be over 18 years old
  • Have an advanced command of English language


The Training Course will take place in Baile Tusnad. Baile Tuşnad is a town in Harghita County, Romania. It lies in the Szekely Land, an ethno-cultural region in eastern Transylvania  the home of Dracula. It is a famous town known for its spas and mineral waters. Nearby is the famous crater lake, “Sfanta Ana” the only of its kind in Romania. Located in green surroundings between the Harghita and Bodoc mountains, very rich is natural resources it offers a unique beauty of the landscape full of forests, rivers and lakes.

Accommodation and Food

Accommodation and food will be covered by the host organization. The project will be held at 3 stars hotel IRIS Pension. Accommodation will be grouped by gender. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served at the same location every day. Each room has its own bathroom and modern furniture. There is very limited wireless internet in the public area, the speed might be very slow in comparison to your normal internet in your country. Be prepared that you won’t get a proper internet access for the whole program.


The travel budget for Slovak participants is 275 EUR. You must keep all the bills, boarding passes and all kinds of tickets with you because host organization needs them to reimburse your travel cost.  You have to consult with us before buying the ticket and obtain the written confirmation that the host organisation agree on the chosen transportation means and route before buying any travel tickets. They will only reimburse approved tickets.

General Information

Health and travel insurance: the participants are required by Erasmus+ program to have a valid European health insurance and a valid travel insurance for the period of the projects including the travel dates.

Weather conditions: Weather conditions: in Băile Tușnad, the average temperature in April is between 10 °C and 18 °C. Please check accuweather.com for more updated information about the weather.

Currency in Romania: the official currency is the Romanian LEU (RON). 1 EUR is about 4.5 RON.

Dress code:  Casual comfortable sportswear, slippers or sneakers for indoor, winter clothes and comfortable shoes for outdoor activities. As it is a
mountain area and spring period we expect some rain, so bring waterproof jackets and shoes for indoor and outdoor activities.

Cultural nights: each country is expected to prepare a program to present their culture, to bring some typical local drinks and foods and prepare a cultural program like presentation of local tradition, music, dance etc.

Meals: the host will provide you with three meals/day and two coffee breaks. The meals will take into account all the participants dietary aspects such as allergies, intolerance and preferences. We will also have vegetarian.
