The goal of this project is to develop competences of 30 youth workers from 10 countries: Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech republic, Lithuania, Poland, Macedonia, Italy, Slovenia and Spain by organizing a 8 days training course between 08-17.02.2018 on building up partnerships for future youth exchanges under Erasmus+ programme focusing on entrepreneurship and employability in Škrdlovice, Czech Republic.

The “CMS – Build Your Career” project comes as a solution for youth workers on how to understand and provide in their projects an ideal environment for personal and professional development, self-responsibility and to foster youth empowerment, contributing to their employability through developing new Erasmus+ project KA1- youth exchanges. In conclusion, they will offer you the chance to practically develop a youth exchange project under Erasmus+ KA1 Learning of mobilities, that respond to the needs of young people from their communities and to build partnerships that better answers to the needs and objectives of their organizations.
Accommodation and Food
The Training Course will take place in Hotel U Hrocha in Škrdlovice. Škrdlovice is a village in Žďár nad Sázavou district in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic. The Vysočina Region is home to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the most in any region in the Czech Republic. Accommodation will be arranged for 2 or 3 persons/room, grouped by gender. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served at the same location every day. Each room has its own bathroom. There is a very limited wireless internet connection in the public area, although the speed will be very slow in comparison to the internet you have at home, in your country.
The target group of this project are youth workers who are interested to develop partnerships for future youth exchanges under Erasmus+ programme focusing on entrepreneurship and employability.
The specific criteria based on which we will evaluate applicants and select participants:
- Experience in youth work
- Interest in the topic of the project
- Motivation to participate in the project
- Experience in facilitation or supporting group learning activities
- Be a youth worker
- Be present and have an active participation on all sessions of the TC
- Show initiative and interest in the topic and follow up activities
- Be over 18 years old
- Have a communicative level of English language
The travel budget for Slovak participants is 180 EUR. You must keep all the bills, boarding passes and all kinds of tickets with you because host organization needs them to reimburse your travel cost. The hotel itself is not accessible by any public transport so the participants must arrive to Žďár nad Sázavou where we will organize pickup by minibus. You can get to Žďár nad Sázavou from Prague or Brno by taking a train. From Prague it takes 2.30 hours and from Brno 1.30h. The ticket price is around 5-10 Euro.
Participants are advised to travel together with the same transport.
Participants traveling to Prague by bus/train/plane must book the travel tickets to be in Prague on 8th February at 16:00 the latest and the return tickets with departure time after 14:00 on 17th February.
Participants traveling to Brno by bus/train/plane must book the travel tickets to be in Brno on 8th February at 18:00 the latest and the return tickets with departure time after 12:00 on 17th February.

Weather conditions: the average temperature in February is between 8 °C and 15 °C during the day. Please check accuweather.com for more updated information about the weather.
Currency in Czech Republic: is Czech Koruna, 1 EURO is about 25 CZK.
Dress code: Casual comfortable sport wear, slippers or sneakers for indoor use, waterproof jacket and comfortable warm shoes for outdoor activities.
Cultural nights: each country is expected to prepare a program to present their culture, to bring some typical local drinks and foods and prepare a cultural program like presentation of local tradition, music, dance etc.
Meals: three meals/day and two coffee breaks will be provided. The meals will take into account all the participants dietary aspects such as allergies, intolerance and preferences. There will be vegetarian menu as well.
Health and travel insurance: the participants are required by Erasmus+ program to have a valid European health insurance and a valid travel insurance for the period of the projects including the travel dates.
